When evening grasses in secret start to green,
当夜草悄悄透青的时候，
A message quietly spreads across the universe.

What is growing steadily in the dark?

什么样的战栗的手？

How strange the path, forget what wriggles

Behind you: memory’s poisonous snakes,
蠕动着多少记忆的毒蛇，
Gladness and anguish, hopes and dashed hopes…
欢乐和悲苦、期许和失望……
Trudge through every crumbling city wall,
踏过一道道倾圮的城墙，
Let the dying century sink into deep sleep.
