贯云石

战西风几点宾鸿[1]至，

感起我南朝[2]千古伤心事。

展花笺[3]欲写几句知心事，

空教我停霜毫[4]半晌无才思。

往常得兴时，

一扫无瑕疵[5]。

今日个病厌厌

刚写下两个相思字。

注释：

[1]宾鸿：大雁。

[2]南朝：指宋、齐、梁、陈四朝。

[3]花笺：精美华丽的信纸。

[4]霜毫：一种白兔毛做成的毛笔。

[5]瑕疵：白玉上的斑点，这里指诗文中的小毛病。

Guan Yunshi

In the west breeze shiver a few dots of wild geese.

It breaks my heart to think of the Southern Dynasties.

I spread out paper fine to write down heart-felt line.

Without inspiration, I put down my pen.

When I was in the mood to write then,

I would wipe all stains away.

How can I be so sick at heart today

As to write only two words I would forget:

“Everlasting regret”.
