纪弦

我乃旷野里独来独往的一匹狼。

不是先知，没有半个字的叹息。

而恒以数声凄厉已极之长嗥[1]

摇撼彼空无一物之天地，

使天地战栗如同发了疟疾；

并刮起凉风飒飒[2]的，

飒飒飒飒的：

这就是一种过瘾。

注释：

[1]嗥（háo）：野兽大声叫。

[2]飒飒：形容树木被风吹过时发出的声音。

I am a wolf companionless,

Going to and fro in the wilderness.

I am not a foreseer

To utter sigh on sigh one-cannot-be more drear,

To make the void space shiver,

And the void earth with malaria quiver,

And the bitter wind blow chill and shrill,

So chill and shrill

That I am satisfied to drink my fill.
