You woke on a cold night,
你的眼睛，在冷夜醒来，
your eyes opening tenderly,
柔柔开启，
sending ripples towards the brink of heaven.
眼波泛向天边。
Half-awake: cuckoo song.
迷濛惺忪中，子规在啼。
When the light in your eyes cleared, a stork
到眸光澄明，一双白鹭
from your long lashes fluttered
就从你的长睫，翩翩
into the heart of your pupils, brim-full.
飞入眸心的潋滟。
