《萤火虫提着灯笼》

Evening fog, like a huge crow’s wings flapping up and down,
夜雾象大鸟的翅膀拍呀拍
Obscures treetops, chimneys, and water-tower tops
遮住树捎、烟囱、水塔顶
Then slowly gathers, erecting walls
慢慢地聚拢，夜雾成了墙
That not a hole can be poked through.
谁也钻不出一个小洞
But the lantern-carrying fireflies darting here and there
萤火虫提着灯笼飞呀飞
Poke tiny holes through the fog to leak out their light.
在夜雾上钻出漏光的小孔
Ah, they must have arranged to embark from their little openings
它们一定是约好了地点
To fly upward towards that vast starry void.
