《割麦人》

The wheat reaper has ground his sickle sharp.
割麦人他的镰刀磨得飞快
His wine is ripe too, ready as the sickle.
他的酒也像镰刀
The wheat is waiting to fall
那些麦子等着倒下
like friends from far away
像一些遥远的朋友
who come over to collapse into your arms
走过来倒进怀里
He can hear the sound of sickle meeting wheat.
他听到麦子接触刀的声音
He is that sickle.
他是刀
He is that wheat.
他也是麦子
If there were no winter the reaper would give up harvesting.
假如没有冬天，割麦人会放弃收获
Wine soothes as it stings his throat.
酒在割他的喉咙时，他总这样想
