岸

Companion to the present and the past
陪伴着现在和以往
the bank, lifting a tall reed,
岸，举着一根高高的芦苇
gazes in all directions
四下眺望
it is you
是你
who keep watch on each wave
守护着每一个波浪
and the bewitching foams and stars
守护着迷人的泡沫和星星
when the sobbing moon
当呜咽的月亮
strikes up an age-old shanty
吹起古老的船歌
it is so forlorn
多么忧伤
I am a bank
我是岸
a fishing haven
我是渔港
I stretch out my arms
我伸展着手臂
to wait for the needy children’s little boats
等待着穷孩子的小船
bringing back a string of lamps
载回一盏盏灯光
