《设计重逢》

Wheels completely stained with coaldust
沾满煤灰的车辆
Rattle down the middle of the road
晃动着，从道路中间滚过
We meet again
我们又见面了
They say that I’m already old
我，据说老了
Have forgotten how to leap
已经忘记了怎样跳跃
And have a smile just like a broken rice-stalk
笑容像折断的稻草
But you—how shall I say—
而你，怎么说呢
Have eyes like drops of golden honey
眼睛像一滴金色的蜂蜜
Are healthy enough to still want to rule the world
健康得想统治世界
And shine like the morning sun on fresh bread
想照耀早晨的太阳和面包
The signal at the railroad crossing raises his arm
车站抬起手臂
While the long-horned beetle drops its antennae
黑天中却垂下了它的触角
You ask me
你问我
What I’m doing nowadays
在干什么
I say that I’m writing a fable
我说，我在编一个寓言小说
On the edges of a plaza
在一个广场的边缘
There are many steps
有许多台阶
Very uneven, like worn-out teeth
它们很不整齐，像牙齿一样
Their rifts fill up with sand and dust
被损坏了，缝隙里净是沙土
It’s my duty to take a stroll over there

And study the traffic rules

Of ants that climb up along a cross

Naturally jobs like this

The flowers are about to wait

Still surrounded by green foliage
依旧被青草们围绕
Big warm cows are smiling on one side
暖融融的大母牛一边微笑
As they shoot their pure white milk into the night
把纯白的奶汁注入黑夜
Once the heart is at rest
在灵魂安静之后
The blood still has to flow for many more years
血液还要流过许多年代
