（一）楚天遥

有意送春归，

无计留春住[2]。

明年又着来，

何似休归去？

桃花也解愁，

点点飘红玉[3]。

目断楚天[4]遥，

不见春归路。

注释：

[1]楚天遥过清江引：为双调，由《楚天遥》和《清江引》两支曲子组成。

[2]无计留春住：宋代欧阳修有《蝶恋花》：“雨横风狂三月暮，门掩黄昏，无计留春住。”

[3]红玉：飘落的桃花。

[4]楚天：南方的天空。

（I）Tune: Far-flung Southern Sky

I have a mind to say farewell to spring,

But I have no means to stay her lingering.

Spring will come back again next year,

Would it not be better to stay forever here?

Peach blossoms seem to know my grief,

Falling like red jade petal on petal, leaf on leaf.

I gaze as far as the Southern sky,

But I can’t see the way spring will go by.

（二）清江引

春若有情春更苦[1]，

暗里韶光度。

夕阳山外山，

春水渡傍渡[2]。

不知那答儿是春住处[3]。

注释：

[1]春若有情春更苦：套用唐代李贺《金铜仙人辞汉歌》“天若有情天亦老”句。

[2]夕阳山外山，春水渡傍渡：用宋代戴复古《世事》“春水渡傍渡，夕阳山外山”句。傍：通“旁”。

[3]不知那答儿是春住处：活用宋代黄庭坚《清平乐·晚春》：“若有人知春去处，换取归来同住。”

（II）Tune: Song of Clear River

If spring had a heart, she would feel sadder still

To see time fly away,

The sun go down from hill to hill,

And water flow from rill to rill.

But where, where is the place for her to stay?
