万里风烟[1]异，

一鸟忽相惊。

那能对远客[2]，

还作故乡声[3]！

On Hearing a Blackbird in the North

Scenes change in countries far apart,

At the song of a bird I start.

How can it sing to me who roam,

The song I used to hear at home.
