一枝花

（一）怨雪

不呈六出[1]祥，

岂应三白瑞[2]？

易添身上冷，

能使腹中饥。

有甚稀奇？

无主向沿街坠，

不着人到处飞。

暗敲窗有影无形，

偷入门潜踪蹑迹。

注释：

[1]六出：雪花有六个瓣，故称“六出”。

[2]三白瑞：古人认为正月里下三次雪，来年庄稼收成就好。

Tang Yifu

（I）Complaint Against Snow

Is snow of any good?

No bumper year’s foretold.

It brings the poor no food

But makes the hungry cold

As of old.

Aimless, it falls along the street;

Carefree, it flies to any place.

It knocks on window-panes with unseen feet,

And steals indoors without leaving trace.

（二）梁州

才苫上[1]茅庵草舍，

又钻入破壁疏篱，

似杨花滚滚轻狂[2]势。

俺几曾[3]见贵公子锦裀绣褥？

你多曾伴老渔翁箬笠蓑衣？

为飘风胡作胡为，

怕腾云相趁相随。

只着你冻的个孟浩然挣挣痴痴，

只着你逼的个林和靖钦钦历历，

只着你阻的个韩退之哭哭啼啼[4]。

更长，

漏迟，

被窝中无半点儿阳和气[5]。

恼人眠搅人睡，

你那冷燥皮肤似铁石，

着我怎敢相偎？

注释：

[1]苫上：编茅盖屋。

[2]轻狂：轻浮癫狂。

[3]几曾：何曾。

[4]只着你阻的个韩退之哭哭啼啼：孟浩然被你冻得缩手缩脚，林和靖被你逼得哆哆嗦嗦，韩愈被你拦住去路，急得直哭。

[5]阳和气：暖和气。

（II）Tune: Song of Frontier

You cling to thatched cot,

And pierce into leaky wall,

Frivolous as wave on wave of willow down.

Have you ever been close to noble son’s gown

Or quilt of brocade light,

Or kept company with fishermen old

In straw cloak and hat of bamboo?

You do what you will with the wind roaring loud

In company with heavy cloud.

You care not for the poet frozen on his ass,

Not knowing what to do;

Nor the mume-lover Lin Bu

Shivering with cold;

Nor the banished scholar barred on his way

At the Blue Pass.

Long lasts the night;

Late breaks the day.

My poor quilt is not,

Not warmed at all.

How can I fall asleep

Even when night is deep?

Your skin is cold and hard as iron or stone.

How dare I cling to you alone?

（三）尾

一冬酒债因他累，

千里关山被你[1]迷。

似这等浪蕊[2]闲花

也不是长久计。

尽飘零数日，

扫除做一堆，

我将你温不热薄情儿

化做了水。

注释：

[1]他、你：都指雪。

[2]浪蕊：雪花。

（III）Tune: Epilogue

All winter long I am in heavy debt for wine.

I can’t go home for you’ve barred my way for miles and miles.

You fruitless flower, can you last for years?

Though you may wander from day to day,

At last I will sweep you away

And heap you up into piles.

Cold as you are, when the day is fine,

I’ll warm you up and dissolve you into tears.
