江干[1]远树浮，

天末孤烟起。

江天自如合，

烟树还相似。

沧流[2]未可源[3]，

高颿[4]去何已[5]。

Far trees by riverside

Seem to float on the tide;

Lonely smoke rises high

At the end of the sky.

The river and sky’s end

Like trees and smoke will blend,

Where is the river’s home?

How long will my sail roam?
