倪瓒

东风花外小红楼[1]，

南浦[2]山横眉黛愁。

春寒不管花枝瘦，

无情水自流。

檐间燕语娇柔，

惊回幽梦，

难寻旧游，

落日帘钩。

注释：

[1]红楼：古代一般指女子的住处。

[2]南浦：《楚辞·九歌》有：“送美人兮南浦。”南浦因此被后人用来指代送别之地。

The east wind can’t bring flower to her small red bower;

The mountains bar the sky like eyebrows in green dye.

The cold spring cares not of the slender blooming tree,

The heartless water flows away, carefree.

A pair of tender swallows whisper on the beam,

Awaking her from her sweet dream.

Where can she find her lover? Look!

The setting sun seems to hang on the curtain’s hook.
