卢挚

江城[1]歌吹风流，

雨过平山，

月满西楼。

几许年华？

三生醉梦，

六月凉秋。

按锦瑟佳人劝酒，

卷珠帘齐按凉州[2]。

客去还留，

云树萧萧，

河汉悠悠。

注释：

[1]江城：指扬州。

[2]齐按凉州：一同演奏起了《凉州曲》。《凉州曲》即汉代乐府《凉州词》。

 （I）At a Feast in the River Town

Lu Zhi

In river town songs are sung with the flowing breeze.

The rain has passed over plain and hill,

The western tower steeped in moonbeams.

How many years are gone with ease?

My life old and new drunk away in dreams,

The sixth moon foretells an autumn cool.

My wine cup filled by lustist beautiful,

Crimson curtain uprolled, I hear songs of frontier.

How can I not linger still?

Before me cloud-veiled trees shiver

Under the endless Heaven’s River.
